I got some GREAT news yesterday!
It seems that what showed up in the original scan was simply a turn (or junction) in one of the blood vessels. NO ANEURYSM! Now, the headache, pain, and numbness is being caused by multiple bulging disks in the cervical area (neck). I will be getting treatment by a different doctor who will be giving me cortisone injections in the neck, to see if they can stop the pain, which should stop the headache and allow me to go back to work. (yea!)
As of now, there is no mention of surgery being needed.
I am happy.

hmmmm
I was able to get an appointment with my neurologist a couple of days earlier. and Finally, my office has declared me on short term disability, which means I no longer have to call everyday to let them know that I am not coming in. I'm hoping that my Doctor will finally have some answers for me. At this time my left thumb is partially "dead". I mean, I can use it, but if I touch it, it feels dead, and if I reach for something with my left hand, I get this searing pain across the same thumb, like something is tearing....hurts really badly.
My neck keeps getting stiffter..I can no longer touch my chin to my chest, and every time I turn to look either right or left, my neck "cracks/pops" and hurts. At night, my neck hurts no matter in what position I try to sleep. And I feel like I'm shaking on the inside, kind of like when you've over exerted yourself and your muscles start shaking. Then there is the feeling of numbness that shows up on my shoulders/arms/back and especially my face.
Today my youngest took me to Wal-Mart to buy a few things. I tried to walk while shopping but my shoulders and arms felt so heavy, I gave up and ended up using one of the electric shopping carts they provide. And even that was hard because I felt like strength was slowly giving out. Luckily, I only had to buy a few items and we came right back home.
Well time to try and get some sleep. Tomorrow is another day.
Thank you LORD for all the blessings you have given me. Please grant me another day.
AMEN

the pain is horrible. it keeps getting stronger. even with my medication it will not go away. and then there was the message from my doctor's assistant saying , we got the results of the tests and everything was okay. so when I called back and asked what had changed between the 1st test that sent me to this doctor and the last test that was supposedly clear and what about the non-stop headaches??? she said "Oh!, I'll have them compare the tests and get back to you later. Huh??????
If it is true that the aneurysm has cleared up. I am very happy, but I need to make sure. (I have heard that it is possible for them to spontaneously clear up - rare, but true) I trust in whatever the good LORD has in store for me.
